  1. Please please please either give us the option to "Continue without cooking" or make the Settings available without needing to cook. It's quite frustrating when you just wish to either check a setting or tick/untick something (that bears no relation to the cooked assets) only to have to wait for the cooking process first. My last cook with all Routes unticked (trying to make it quicker but didn't work lol)... This was just to untick "Show FPS Counter" in Vulkan If you alter a shader setting it recooks anyway (which makes perfect sense, but doesn't make sense that you had to cook it prior to changing anything). Thanks a million.
  2. The cancel service message times out after a short while.
  3. I have a multi monitor setup and I'd truly love to have the ability to have my game screen (Primary monitor) completely HUD free and be able to drag the HUD elements (Track monitor, Speedo, Info and so on) onto my second monitor. Is it possible to have the HUD elements unbound from the restrictions of the actual game window?
  4. That's great because I'm quite lazy when it comes to manual entries As for the operators names that's great, how will it get that info? (thinking of the plethora of Operators over the years that seem to come and go at a moments notice)
  5. Ooofft.. ( << appreciative noises ) Ok that's impressive..
  6. I can't remember where and can't find the discussion I had regarding this issue now so I've created a new thread. My issue was that whenever I used Vulkan (either through RWE2 or the original github versions) my mouse cursor became invisible, early in RWCentrals integration of it meant I had no mouse cursor as long as the game was running whilst later versions of RWCentrals tweaks and updates to it meant that I had no cursor in the TS menus but at least once the scenario started and you had the RWE2 HUD overlay up the mouse cursor thankfully returned. Now the reason for this post is to say that I've finally come across a solution to this problem and I hope it helps anyone else in the future that suffers the same odd bug. It was as simple as going into windows settings Control panel > Click on Mouse > Navigate to Pointer options tab > Under visibility uncheck the box which says "display pointer trails" > Click ok then exit. There is a part two to the fix if the above didn't solve it for you but I didn't need it as just doing the above resolved it for me, here is the link for anyone needing the rest of the information. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/mouse-cursor-invisible-when-playing-any-full/08c5c6c3-5608-4287-bedc-832165af2750 I hope this helps someone else with the same predicament. I'm just happy I can leave Vulkan ticked all the time now
  7. @RW Central Doing exactly what the manual (and your link) says but he just gets a black screen.. It's placed above the railworks capture but you just have the black screen as shown in the preview above That's the game screen which is working fine, also note he is running the game in borderless.
  8. Many thanks, I'll pass the info on.
  9. A friend of mine has recently purchased RWE2 and he's very happy with it so far but there is one issue he can't get around and is above my knowledge to offer any assistance. Said friend streams on Twitch using OBS but cannot get the HUD to show on stream, is there any tips or recommendations to help him sort this out? Any help appreciated.
  10. One immersion issue for UK train simmers that I had noticed in the past but had quite honestly blocked out and forgotten about until I was reminded by someone recently is with the train identification announcements. I don't know how this works in your country or any other non UK countries and for all I know is an accurate representation for you but in the UK it would not be "Welcome aboard train number one thousand two hundred and thirty four" in fact there is no actual numerical identification other than the service (headcode) number i.e. 1L(Lima)22 or the T.O.P.S. identification i.e. Class 325 (followed by unit number) 001 and neither of which is announced to the passengers via either the on-board or station announcements anyway It would more likely be (and this is a rough assumption/approximation here as I don't travel by rail and haven't done for many many years but someone with actual knowledge on this can correct or adjust as need be) "The train now boarding at platform 1 is the 19:55 to London Euston" (again this may be corrected by more knowledgeable train persons than I). So at the very least I'd suggest if a value of 0 (zero) is entered into the identification field (in QD creation) then leave out this announcement altogether instead of the apparently randomly generated 4 figure number that is announced at present. Ideal long term solution would be to have the ability to enter either a train ID number (as it is now) or tick a check box the UK styled announcements which would announce the final destination and planned timetabled arrival time. If value is 0 (zero) and the box left unticked then the train ID announcement would be omitted altogether. EDIT: Decided to remove the UK Service part from my mock up image as this may be beneficial or preferred by other countries besides the UK too.
  11. After a clean install of TS a few days ago I no longer have Danny's merged route but I was able to test if both London Euston and Birmingham New Street are selectable now with AC overhead consists since the last RWE2 update on the standard WCML-S and indeed they are now.
  12. Updated fine for me, though still no fix for the London Euston/Birmingham New Street bug yet
  13. @RW Central No luck fixing this issue yet then?
  14. I forgot to mention you need to run the CobraOne software as an Administrator or it won't work correctly in conjunction with RWE2, try that and see if it works. Oh and make sure you Alt + Tab out of the game and press "Start Callback" on the CobraOne interface too.
