andrewathome
I was running RW2 without issue until yesterday. Now whenever I start a route with RW2 the route pauses momentarily every 6 to 8 seconds. Also, I'm only achieveing 14fps. I can't see anythin untoward in the debug.log. RW Central
All reports I have received of this issue was in the end caused by anti-virus softwares that were perturbating the communication process between RWE 2 and Train Simulator. Please disable your anti-virus (at least make an exception rule for both RWE 2 and TS), you can also make an exception rule for Windows defender. andrewathome
I've uninstalled my AVG suite completely and added exception rules for RWE and TS, and now disabled my Defender. Still getting the pausing and also the frame drop to 14fps. I have tried a new install of TS and RWE which made no difference (still get pausing and 14fps) except that I now get a semi-transparent UI when I first launch RWE. Any other ideas? andrewathome
All working now after I added all of my exceptions back into Defender. Thanks
