  1. We just need to wait the next windows patch from Microsoft, this has been confirmed as fixed by MS devteam in the next upcoming windows update. 🙂

    Thanks for the report, everyone! There has been some extensive investigation over the past 12-16 hours, and it's been found that this is a result of a Windows 10/11 patch on Tuesday that changed the behavior of TLS in the operating system. Speech SDK is not the only ones impacted and a wide variety of TLS-dependent service use started failing with the latest patches.

    This issue is specific to those Windows clients with the latest updates from Tuesday.

    The Windows team is working on the root problem, and we expect a fix to be rolled out to Windows fairly quickly (for a Windows update--there's no ETA but we should assume it's still on the order of a week or two). 

     

  2. Hello @Scip and thank you for the debug.log sent by private message.

    After investigation of the error I have found that the issue is caused by latest windows update. This issue has been identified/confirmed by Microsoft so the fix for this issue will be integrated in the next windows update (which will arrive in a week or two maximum).

  5. As I was thinking, there is an issue in a track tile blueprint file for this route. You can view this in the debug log file:

    FileSystem.cpp:569    ERR| Could not SERZ '"C:\Program Files\RW Enhancer 2\Cooking\Temp\8f6b8f62-804d-4444-a488-c3b69dd87e45\Networks\Track Tiles\-000066-000039.bin"' file. Error code: 259
    TSContentCooker.cpp:11499  ERR| XML parsing error in 'C:\Program Files\RW Enhancer 2\Cooking\Temp\8f6b8f62-804d-4444-a488-c3b69dd87e45\networks\track tiles\-000066-000039.xml' file at line 7582. Error Description: Start-end tags mismatch

    This error is caused either by the route maker or by the "SERZ.exe" tool made by DTG in order to convert .bin files to readable .xml files. So RWE 2 is not causing this issue. With the latest version of RWE 2, routes with such errors are not loaded by RWE 2 anymore. that's why you can not see it anymore. 

    In the near future, I will try to add a system to force route cooking even if an error is detected in the blueprint files. But for now routes with such errors are not loaded anymore in order to prevent various potential issues. Thank you for your understanding and patience until a good system is found as a workaround to this kind of issues 🙂 

  6. La mise à jour 0.8.2.0 est maintenant disponible.

    Cette mise à jour apporte des informations météorologiques sur les scénarios lors de la navigation dans les scénarios. Cette fonctionnalité a été demandée par de nombreux utilisateurs et est maintenant disponible.

    L'interface utilisateur du menu des paramètres a reçu quelques améliorations et les paramètres sont maintenant mieux alignés et la disposition générale est améliorée (les onglets "Shaders" et "Train Simulator" recevront ces améliorations dans un avenir proche):

    Il y a aussi quelques correctifs importants dans cette mise à jour. Un problème important a été résolu dans le processus de cooking du contenu. Le processus de cooking du contenu devrait maintenant pouvoir charger du matériel roulant / des scénarios qui n'étaient auparavant pas chargés correctement et inutilisables avec RWE 2. De plus, le problème de "clignotement" de l'interface utilisateur dans le menu "Drive" est désormais corrigé 🙂 

    VEUILLEZ NOTER : En raison d'importantes corrections et améliorations apportées au système de cuisson du contenu, une cuisson complète est requise après l'installation de cette mise à jour.

    A la semaine prochaine pour une nouvelle mise à jour !

  7. Update 0.8.2.0 is now available.

    This update brings scenarios weather information when browsing scenarios. This feature was requested by many users and is now available.

    The settings menu UI has received some improvements and the settings are now better aligned and the general layout is improved ("Shaders" and "Train Simulator" tabs will receive this improvements in the near future):

    There is also some important fixes in this update. An important issue has been fixed in the content cooking process. The content cooking process should now be able to load some rolling stock / scenarios that were previously not loaded correctly and not usable with RWE 2. Also, the UI flickering issue in the "Drive" menu is now fixed 🙂 

    PLEASE NOTE: Due to important fixes and improvements in the content cooking system, a full cooking is required after installing this update.

  8. Thanks to @462 great help by private message, I have managed to find the cause of this issue. The data for some rolling stock (and even scenarios or routes) was not properly loaded because of some XML syntax issues in original blueprint files. This would affect the whole data and not just images of the rolling stock.

    For some reason, Train Simulator is loading the data even if there is some issues in the blueprint syntax. So now RWE 2 is doing (in a clever way) the same. So now "minor" syntax error in blueprints won't be an issue for RWE 2 content cooking system. 

    This fix is currently under testing and it will be added to the next update of RWE 2. Thank you for your patience with this issue, the root cause was not easy to identify at glance. 🙂

  9. La mise à jour 0.8.1.0 est disponible 🙂  

    Cette mise à jour ajoute un élément "Limiteur De Vitesse" sur le compteur de vitesse du HUD. Maintenant vous pouvez voir quelle vitesse cible est fixée sur le système de régulation de vitesse du train (AFB, Régulateur de vitesse classique...) s'il y a un tel système détecté. La valeur du limiteur de vitesse est affichée juste en dessous de la limite de vitesse actuelle.

    Sachez que cela ne fonctionne peut-être pas encore avec tous les matériels roulants, mais cela sera amélioré au fil du temps 🙂 Si vous jouez avec un matériel roulant qui n'affiche pas cet élément (et s'il devrait être affiché), veuillez me contacter par message privé afin que je puisse demander quelques informations qui m'aideront à ajouter le support de cette fonctionnalité pour ce matériel roulant. 

    Les tender sont maintenant affichés dans l'explorateur de contenu.

  10. Update 0.8.1.0 is available 🙂 

    This update add a "Speed Limiter" element on the HUD speedometer. Now you can see which target speed is set on the speed regulator system of the train (AFB, Speed Regulator...) if there is any such system detected. The speed limiter value is displayed right under the current speed limit.

    Please be aware that this might not work with every rolling stock yet, but this will be improved over time 🙂 If you play with a rolling stock that do not display this element (and if it should be displayed) please contact me by private message so I can ask for some information that will help me to add this feature support for this rolling stock. 

    Tenders are now displayed in the Content Explorer.

  11. La mise à jour 0.8.0.0 est disponible.

    C'est la première version de la branche 0.8.x. Alors que la branche 0.7.x visait principalement à corriger les plus gros problèmes et à améliorer les systèmes existants (avec plus de 70 mises à jour !), les futures mises à jour ajouteront d'avantage de nouvelles fonctionnalités et d'améliorations 🙂  Bien sûr, la correction des bugs continue.

    Cette première mise à jour présente quelques améliorations de l'interface utilisateur. L'interface est maintenant plus "arrondie" et moins "plate".

    La visionneuse composition et les informations sur les quais des gares (dans l'explorateur de contenu) ont reçu quelques améliorations et corrections de l'interface utilisateur grâce à l'utilisation de tableaux.

    L'explorateur de contenu est maintenant plus pratique avec une interface utilisateur plus cohérente pour tous les différents onglets. (engins moteurs, compositions, wagons...)

    Le système de validation du service a été amélioré de sorte que le service est désormais validé plus tôt qu'auparavant lors de l'exécution de la dernière tâche de service. Ainsi, dans la plupart des cas, votre service devrait être correctement validé du côté de RWE 2 avant que Train Simulator ne termine le scénario/la session Quickdrive. 

    Le moteur audio et le moteur de rendu Vulkan ont également reçu diverses améliorations et corrections dans cette version.

  12. Update 0.8.0.0 is available.

    This is the first release of the 0.8.x branch. While the 0.7.x branch was mainly targeted to fix biggest issues and improve the existing systems (with more than 70 updates !), future updates will add more new features and improvements 🙂 Of course bug fixing still continues.

    This first update is featuring some UI improvements. The UI is now more "rounded" and less "flat".

    Consist viewer and stations platforms infos (in content explorer) has received some UI improvements and fixes with the usage of tables.

    The Content Explorer is now more practical with a more cohesive UI for all different tabs. (engines, consists, wagons...)

    The service validation system has been improved so now the service is validated earlier than before when performing the last service task. So your service should now be correctly validated on RWE 2 side before Train Simulator ends the scenario/quickdrive session for most cases. 

    The audio engine and Vulkan renderer has also received various improvements and fixes in this release.
