Please note that the thunder strikes audio effect is randomized, sometimes there will be no thunderstrike sound depending on the situation. So it is normal if you don't hear it each time even on the same scenario/quickdrive configuration

Hello @Fields,
Can you try to turn TS (in TS ingame settings) SSAO off ?

Bonjour @al60,

Hello John,
Unfortunately some things are not possible, Train Simulator is quite opened to modifications but some things are impossible without the source code of the game (so only DTG can do this).
However, weather sheet and localized passengers voices are possible and could be made in a future update

Hello,

Update 0.7.61.0 is available
This maintenance update mainly improves the Vulkan renderer. The infamous" fog edges" graphic artifact is now fixed ! And that is good because this was the only graphic issue reported when using the Vulkan renderer.
For those who are using the regular DirectX9 Train Simulator renderer, this issue was also present but much less visible. This is fixed in the shaders now (this was an issue from the base game and not RWE shaders) so whether or not you are using Vulkan the fog should look nicer now.
So when you are using RW Enhancer 2, you get nicer shaders effects but it is also fixing some issues from the base game
See you soon for another update !

@Reef and @462, I have completely fixed the issue, no edge artifact on my test PC anymore. The issue was not caused by DXVK but by DTG default shaders... This issue is also visible with the default shaders even when not using Vulkan or RWE 2 shaders but it is much more visible with Vulkan. So my fix is working with and without using Vulkan (But of course you have to use RWE 2 shaders to benefit from the fix)
Please contact me by private message if you can help me to test the fix before the release of the next update that will include this fix.

Hello @milko80,
Can you tell me which kind of settings are not saved ?
-
Hello @alpenman,
This is planned to be included soon (in the 0.8.x branch probably), thank you for your patience Because of the content cooking system, this feature is more tricky to add compared to RW Enhancer or RW Enhancer PRO.
-
Thank you very much, I think I know what is happening here, will be fixed in the next update and will send you a test version shortly
-
@RobertNL Can you take the same screenshot than this one please with the new update:
This will help me to see what's wrong
-
Hello @RobertNL. The update is now released, can you check that the xxx 'xx' stations names are now transformed to xxx without the 'xx' ? Thank you

Update 0.7.60.0 is available

Hello @RobertNL,
This is planned in the future 0.8.x branch
While waiting for this feature I could improve the station name generation algorithm to remove the names between the ' characters. For example "Boskoop 'bsk'" would be listed as "Boskoop", what do you think ? That could be done in the next update.

Hello,
Since Vulkan is using the same file for it's code injection than reshade, reshade cant' be used with the Vulkan renderer. You need to disable the Vulkan renderer if you want to use reshade. And if you have enabled the vulkan renderer at least once, you need to reinstall reshade (after you have disabled the Vulkan renderer).
Everything is explained on this page: https://wiki.rwenhancer.com/doku.php?id=core:vulkanrenderer

Bonjour @jeanpierrem,

@Reef Known issue caused by DXVK, I am trying to find a workaround for this issue in shaders but no luck for now

CHANGELOG:
Citer- Vulkan renderer improvements and optimizations
- Added French/German UI localization initial support (WIP). More is coming in next updates
- Added 'Language' in 'General' settings tab
- Azure speech engine improvements and fixes
- Slightly reduced HDR exposure level in shaders
- Fixed content cooker system doing more work than needed when only recompiling shaders
- Minor fixes- 3

Update 0.7.59.0 is available.
This update is bringing the first batch of French/German translation of the user interface. This translation/localization is still work in progress and more translated content will be added by batches in next coming updates.
You can change the language of RWE 2 UI here:
Note for German players: The German translation can have quite a lot of grammatical or vocabulary errors. If you see some translations issues please report it back by private message here on RW Central. This will be fixed in futures updates.
This update also bring some minor improvements/optimizations to the experimental Vulkan renderer and lower the default HDR exposure value in the shaders. This should make the lighting a bit more 'realistic'.
A few maintenance updates should be released during August and then the work on the 0.8.x branch will start in early September
Thank you everyone for your support and your help to make this software a must have for extending the life of Train Simulator.

Can you make some screenshot with RWE 2 shaders on and off of this locomotive ? That would help me to see the issue Thanks
